Web Design Features

All my Web Designs are cross browser and W3C compliant with valid XHTML and CSS. Virtually free from spam email (I think I've had no more than three in four years!). All web design and development is unique, custom built (no templates). All web design makeovers and upgrades validate and conform to web standards. Web graphics that are light and clear (backgrounds, buttons, sprites, page elements). Photos and images are optimised for speed and clarity. Flash animations, slide shows and forms are designed to enhance, not overshadow.

Static Website Design or Brochure style
These websites are designed to inform quickly without needing to many interactive elements, e-commerce or dynamic content. But they can include a content management system, flash elements, video, forms and photo galleries. They are perfect for the individual, small company or organisation by giving an overview of information, products or services. Static websites are priced following an initial consultation with the client for direction of design and development. Prices start from £650 for a basic site with six pages.

Content Management Web Design.
A Web Content Management System (WCM, WCMS or Web CMS) website is similar to a static website. The difference being, once designed, developed and set up, you take control of managing the content. Prices start from £750 for a basic site with six pages.

Web Design Goal
My main goal as a designer is to meet the requirements of the client. Through understanding client needs and objectives this should attract Internet users into either customers, subscribers, repeat visitors or donators. The design of the website should reassure, educate and convince the visitor that they are in the right place and have found what they are looking for. It is my responsibly as a web designer to produce a design that is attractive, easy to navigate and inform through logical web development practises.
